Here at AJS, we have a fully featured 4-Step process in place to ensure you a creative, brand representing tap handle for awareness right at the point-of-sale. The overview listed below shows the general process that takes place from when you first see the illustrated concept drawing, till you receive the batch of handles from our facility.

Step 1 - Concept Design
All tap handle designs need to start with a good concept. A good concept will lay a base foundation for a great tap handle. Either hand a concept design to our designers or let them sketch one for you.

Step 2 -Shaping / Molding
Our Custom wood handles begin on our lathes. We can turn a variety of shapes to give you a fully custom handle. We also do urethane molding and can create a fully unique design for your brand.

Step 3 - Graphics, Painting and Printing
Whether it’s a custom design, or one using traditional shapes, we feature numerous ways to finish off the handle. Custom colors are no problem for spray painting, and we can also apply decals and pad printing to finish off your brands handle.

Step 4 - Laser Etching
With our Laser Engraving machines AJS can engrave your logo into the tap handles, displays, or other items we manufacture for you. Although wood is the most common material we engrave, we can engrave any substance that can be safely burned.

We often recommend a top clear coat finish for all tap handles. This finish, while enhancing the look, adds protection and makes the handle easy to clean.

Step 5 - Assembly
At AJS, we are ready for any run, large or small, and have multiple facilities ready to create your product. We assure quality hand assembly of your tap handles and pay extreme attention to detail. All tap handles are carefully inspected and uphold the quality standards we have prided ourselves on for almost two decades.
